The yurt sits proudly on a large platform with terrace, which we built ourselves with our own wood from the forest here at La Taillede. It’s a fantastic spot, in it’s own private field below the main house with breathtaking views; right from the bed! It is available for rent in July and August 1 week minimum.

The yurt is perfect for couples and families in search of peace, nature, space, and fresh mountain air. Inside the yurt, there is a very comfortable king sized home made wooden bed, a single bed, & a low table with cushions for relaxed meal times, in addition to the main dining area. Extra mattresses and a cot are all available for larger families.

There is a large terrace in front of the yurt with 2 sun loungers and 3 chairs. The yurt had its own private outdoor kitchen, & dining area (with roof for shelter from rain or sun), hot water shower and ecological compost toilet. This is right next to the yurt. The kitchen comes fully equipped with fridge, gas hob and oven, sink with hot water and cupboards for storage.

There is a fire pit and a BBQ for your personal use and a wooden paddling pool to cool off in, 2 metres diameter.

Staying in our yurt gives you all the benefits of a peaceful camping holiday in nature, with the all the creature comforts of a quirky boutique hotel.

Bed linen, shower towels, tea, coffee some toilet paper, and hand soap are all provided.

Beach towels can be rented for €8 each.

Free guided walk with us and the donkeys followed by welcome aperitif /children snack is offered late afternoon Sunday.

No need to buy drinking water as we have spring water which is filtered and UV treated and it’s better than anything you will buy in a plastic bottle!

Summer social fun

For our summer guests (starting week 6th July-end August) who stay a full week, usually on the Sunday afternoon, we will offer you to join us on a short walk with the donkeys, who will carry our rugs and refreshments. Our 2 friendly dogs also join us. The adults will be served an aperitif, there will be snacks for the kids and we will enjoy the view and company at a beautiful spot overlooking Corsavy. It’s a lovely informal way for all our guests to meet.

You will also be invited to join us for a vegetarian meal in our garden on a Tuesday evening; BYO drinks. €25 adult & ados, €10 child.

On a Friday evening at 6pm, we like to bring everyone together if they wish, on the party terrace (in between the pool and playground). BYO drinks and snacks. We often have a boules competition. A perfect end to the holiday for those leaving the next day.

Additional fee of €8 per child per night (5 people maximum). 8% discount for 1 week stays.

No extra cost for an infant in a cot.

Please note; Pets are not allowed. Also, no parties (noise to a minimum after 10pm) and no additional guests are permitted to visit other than those staying with us. The maximum number of guests in the yurt is 5 (a couple and 3 kids).

No smoking, candles or shoes are to be worn inside the yurt please.
